The health benefits of fasting are well-studied and proven, but let's face it: fasting can be scary and unknown territory for many people.

We want to introduce you to this life-changing way of eating and living in a way that is safe and enjoyable. Knowledge and support - all hosted in a breathtaking retreat space so that you can immerse yourself in this whole new world and truly enjoy each and every moment.

It's time to regroup and rediscover your passion for wellness (mind, body, & soul)...

How?

A 3-day weekend (Friday to Sunday) where you engage in a mix of informal and interactive seminars, workshops, fitness classes, nature walks, meditation, journaling, DIY body care + digestive tinctures, "fasting beverage" demos (keto coffee, adrenal-healing teas, bone + plant-based broth, and kombucha), tours of the estate grounds and vineyards, and other related festivities.

You can choose to take part in all 3 days or 1 or 2.

We are committed to empowering you with the most up to date and informed knowledge around fasting to help you transition into this journey with as much ease and scientific direction as possible. That's why we're pleased to introduce our guest facilitator, Megan Ramos, co-founder of the Intensive Dietary Management Clinic, as the leader of the lectures in each day of the retreat. Think of Megan as your personal "go-to" for any questions and support you may require as we dive into the fasting world together!

Megan Ramos has worked along side Dr. Jason Fung since 2003. She is a clinical researcher by trade with the majority of her research focusing in preventative medicine. Megan co-founded the Intensive Dietary Management Program with Dr. Fung in 2014 after being diagnosed with diabetes herself and was the program’s first guinepig.

Sandra Augustin, owner of SASS Fitness, and who has 30 years in the fitness industry as a professional competitor and trainer will be leading your bootcamps, hiking adventures, as well as evening yoga classes. Sandra is a huge advocate for fasting - she uses it for hormonal balance for herself and her clients.

Kiki Athanas, founder of Mindfully Edible, is a Holistic Health Advocate and expert in all things plant-based keto! While there will be no food at the event, Kiki will be hosting nutrition workshops on how to build the perfect keto meal plan for your needs. All guests will receive an annual membership to a health-focused meal planning service and customer support throughout the remainder of the year so that they can continue their fasting (& "feeding") journey with utmost success and support. Kiki will also lead broth "cooking" demos, adrenal-healing tea tastings, and DIY kombucha workshops. She will also be conducting optional meditation, journaling, and DIY tutorials, as well as offering reiki healing sessions for those who are interested (all inclusive).

Amina Cordano, Founder of WholeHearted Juice and experienced Intermittent Faster will be sharing her renowned Superhero Coffee each morning to help guests make it to "breakfast" without "breaking" your "fast". Learn all about how to make your own ketogenic ("Bulletproof") coffee elixir and why this thriving entrepreneur swears by an IF lifestyle and her tips on how you can do it too (all while keeping things plant-based!).

Where?

The Avio Vineyards and Winery in Sutter Creek California - a destination that embodies the spirit of northern Italy. This Amador County estate is reminiscent of a traditional Tuscan farmstead, complete with a rustic courtyard and fountain. 

While we invite you to treat the space as your home, and to feel comfortable roaming the grounds at your leisure, overnight accommodation is offered, if you so require, at nearby locations at an additional cost. 

When?

October 20th, 21st, and 22nd: 8am-9pm each day. In order to get the most out of this truly once-in-a-lifetime experience, we recommend joining us for the entire weekend Friday-Sunday, so that you don't miss any of the education or wellness festivities offered. While the retreat will proceed in a sequential order starting on the Friday, with education and offerings building on each-other throughout the weekend, you may also choose to only attend 1 or 2 of the days if you have time or financial constraints.

Our goal is to make this as accessible as possible, so that the gift of fasting can be understood and embraced for healing and optimal vitality by anyone who feels called.


Pricing:

Keeping things simple, we're offering everything involved at an all inclusive rate of $300/day or $700 USD for the 3 days

In order to ensure the best possible and personalized experience for everyone involved, we are inviting just 20 guests to join us who would like to explore the world of fasting with a medical expert onboard to help supervise and support this experience.

UPDATE: Please note due to overwhelming demand for the FULL-FAST option, we are no longer providing an IF option but instead will simply have keto coffee, herbal teas, kombucha, and organic bone broth (as well as a plant-based broth) available.

10am - 12:30pm: Bootcamp (1) with Sandra Augustin or Meal Planning with Kiki.

1pm - 2pm: Free time (optional check-in with Megan: 'How Are You Doing?')

2:30pm - 4pm: DIY Kombucha Workshop or Bootcamp (1) or Tour of Avio Estates.

4pm - 6pm: Journaling and Meditation with Kiki.

6-7pm: Q&A with Megan (broth, sea salt + magnesium will be served).

7:30pm - 9pm: Yoga in the Barrel Room with Sandra.

SATURDAY OCTOBER 21ST

8am - 8:15am: Keto coffee demo + drinking with Amina Cordano

8:15am - 10am: Fasting Lecture led by Megan Ramos (interactive + handout materials will be provided).

10am - 12:30pm: Bootcamp (2) with Sandra Augustin or Meal Planning with Kiki.

2:30pm - 4pm: DIY Kombucha Workshop or Bootcamp (2), or Tour of Avio Vineyards.

4pm - 6pm: DIY Body Care (ft. essential oils) with Sandra & Kiki.

7:30pm - 9pm: Yoga in the Barrel Room with Sandra.

SUNDAY OCTOBER 22ND
