Let us guide you through a glorious day filled with nutritious food workshops, a hiking tour, and a healing yoga practice, to open your heart as well as your mind to a new way of life.

WHAT WE HAVE PLANNED FOR YOU GODDESSES...

ODYSSEY #1: FLORAL MORNING (8am-10am)

Arrive at the vineyards to a collection of delicious & healthy breakfast treaties - both sweet and savoury, and learn a thing or two about how to put together a well-balanced breakfast to fuel your day. Holistic Health Expert Kiki from Mindfully Edible & Meal Garden will be serving up some of her favourite morning goodies - including "superherbed" green granola and grain-free porridges, all complete with various extravagant homemade nut milks and all the beautiful edible flowers for you to top with. Of course, to fit the floral Anthea theme, there will be also be collection of floral teas offered - alongside an in-depth explanation of their health and healing properties. 

Kiki has a knack for being inspired by "trendy" meals (that we see on Instagram) and transforming them into actually nutritious creations with ingredients you've likely not yet familiar with. The best part? Neither taste nor appearance are ever sacrificed. 

As we meet, greet, and indulge, we will chat about how to make each and every one of the dishes offered at the blooming buffet, and Kiki will also offer an optional 'DIY Nut Milk Workshop' for interested participants. 

We promise you'll walk away from the breakfast table full in your belly, heart, and even have your very own breakfast recipe guide as your special parting gift .

WANDERING #2: HIKING TO REACH NEW HEIGHTS (10AM-12PM)

Be led by renowned fitness trainer Sandra from SASS Fitness on a journey of exploration among the stunning nature valleys and hiking trails that our private retreat space offers. This will be a hike intended for all levels and Sandra will offer the necessary modifications and accommodations for those who wish to take it easy or challenge themselves more physically. Bring all of your workout questions ready for this fitness expert! She knows a thing or two about how to train to get results that last - this walk & talk will be a chance to learn amongst the beauty of Northern California's nature scene.

ADventure #3: FLOWER-POWERED LUNCH (12-1:30PM)

Join Kiki in the kitchen as she lovingly curates a collection of her favourite healthful & organic ingredients to make a truly 'life-changing' salad. Inspired by the 'Foraging for a Salad' Video Series by David Avocado Wolfe, Kiki will discuss the key elements to making a tasty, perfectly in-balance and nutritional powerhouse salad that will have you more excited about 'eating your greens' than you ever thought possible. You'll also get a chance to be the master of the salad creation fun and customize it to your pallet's delight. All while being advised on which ingredients you as an individual (with specific health concerns and goals) should be opting for. This "lunch" will be entertainment, education, a personal consult, and an enjoyable indulgence for your taste buds - all in one.

JAUNT #4: R&R + an optional wine tasting extravaganza (1:30-3:30pm)

Take this time to explore the grounds, lounge poolside, or join us in the tasting room as Founder of Avio Vineyards and Winery, Lisa, takes us on a journey infused with spirit of northern Italy - sipping fine wines and learning the who, what, when, where, and how behind it all.

COURSE #5: DIY kombucha workshop (3:30-5pm)

Fermented food & drink is all the rage now, and for good reason - providing beneficial probiotics for our digestive system; working to adequately equip and help to heal our gut. We can all benefit by adding more of this "good bacteria" into our diets. Unfortunately, due to the current uptake in "trendiness" of Kombucha, it often comes with a hefty price tag. Turns out making your own is simple, fun, and a whole lot cheaper. Plus, you can infuse it to your fancy. In this interactive workshop, Kiki will do a talk on the benefits of kombucha, including how to incorporate it into your daily life for optimal health, and then explain exactly how to "brew your booch" for tasty delight in every batch! You'll also receive a hand-crafted infusion kit, with sacred herbs and ingredients to flavour your divine concoction, and of course - a scoby to get you started (the essential starting element for this gut-friendly recipe).

EXPLORATION #6: Sunset Yoga (5-7PM)

Ground down & Lighten up: Restoration and Self Care through Yin Yoga

Commit to yourself first in this yin class that will soften your heart and your hips! Experience the power of stillness and its ability to move you closer towards your authentic self.  

Yin yoga restores the vitality of your connective tissue through extended time in each passive shape.  It creates a release that will:

  • Hone your ability to manage your energy (and who you give it to)
  • Relieve stress
  • Increase flexibility
  • Support joint health

EXPEDITION #7: EVENING edibles & WELLNESS TALK (7-8:30PM)

A closing ceremony featuring delicious and nutritious eats - in celebration of the sacred and worthwhile adventure we have only just begun together. Guests will be treated to a selection of (always healthy & tasty) goodies, as well as the opportunity to consult with Kiki and Sandra on various health & wellness topics such as cleansing, intermittent fasting, and guidance on following certain special diets. Everyone goes home with a care guide so that you are set-up for success on your own after you leave the retreat grounds. You will each be invited to join us in a private online Facebook group so that we can continue to teach, learn, improve, and strive for optimal health together.

In order to cover our costs for all of the marvelous festivities we have set-up for you to enjoy, we are asking for a $300 (USD) payment.
